ADSL Qualification and Setup
|
- Must have current local telephone service through Verizon with an established telephone number.
- Contact MapleNet, Inc. to have the telephone line tested for ADSL availability and to obtain information about security issues and firewalls.
- Fill out MapleNet signup sheet or signup online and clearly mark it for ADSL Service.
- MapleNet will place the order for the requested ADSL service. Please allow 10-15 working days for the order to be completed.

- Microsoft Windows 95B (and above), 98, 98 SE, ME, 2000 Pro (only), NT 4.0 Workstation (w/ Service Pack 5 or 6), XP Home (only)
- Pentium (or equivalent) 133MHz or faster processor
- 128MB of RAM (Windows 2000/NT/XP)
- 64MB of RAM (Windows 95/95/ME)
- 100Mb of free hard drive space
- CD-ROM drive
- To install the DSL modem, your computer must have an available Ethernet card, either 10BaseT or set to run at 10 Mbps.
